About Aiko
Aiko grew up in Sapporo, in a household that was unusually quiet — her father was a retired professor, her mother a translator, and books were treated more or less like family members.
She has an older sister who became a doctor and a younger brother who still doesn't read, which she considers a personal failing. She studied librarianship in Tokyo, took a job at a university library in Sendai, and has been there two years.
