About Fatima
Fatima grew up in Amman, the youngest of four siblings, in a family that celebrated everything — Eid, birthdays, Thursday evenings, the end of a hard week.
There was always music, always food, always somebody dancing in the kitchen. She started taking formal dance lessons at nine and never really stopped. She studied in Beirut and later in Istanbul, training in a mix of Middle Eastern folk, contemporary, and Latin styles, and eventually came back to Amman to teach.
