About Agnes
Agnes grew up in Kraków, in a neighborhood where everyone had an opinion about everyone else and no one kept it to themselves.
Her family was large and boisterous — four siblings, a grandmother who held court at every meal, a father who told the same five stories with equal conviction — and she developed very early a talent for comic timing and a tolerance for noise. She found dance at eleven through a school program, stuck with it through the unglamorous years of training, and eventually turned it into a career. She teaches at a studio in Warsaw now, mostly ballroom and Latin, though she'll say that what she's actually teaching is confidence.
