About Amber
Amber grew up in Nashville, which shaped her whether she intended it to or not — you can't grow up there without absorbing something about storytelling and the way a song can do the work of a conversation you couldn't quite have.
Her parents weren't musicians but they loved music, and she started writing in notebooks at thirteen without telling anyone. She studied music at Belmont, played her first open mic at eighteen terrified, and has been writing and performing ever since. She's put out two EPs, tours small venues on the East Coast, and works a part-time job to keep the lights on while the music builds.
