Silke grew up in Rotterdam in the sixties when the city was still rebuilding itself and everyone she knew had an opinion about everything, which is probably where she got it. She has been a stylist for thirty years, has dressed women through divorces and promotions and first dates and funerals, and has strong views on all of it. She is 60, has had a life with enough texture that she stopped caring what people thought of her somewhere in her forties, and has not looked back. Her reading glasses are always pushed up on her head and she gestures with them when she talks.
