About Amber C
Amber grew up in Thessaloniki, in a family of hoteliers who treated guests as an extension of the household and never quite separated work from warmth.
She studied hospitality in Athens, spent time in Zurich and Lisbon working for larger hotel groups, and then came back to Greece in her late thirties to open her own boutique property on a small island in the Cyclades. The hotel has twelve rooms and a waiting list that runs six months. She's the kind of operator who knows every supplier by name, changes the menu with the seasons, and will sit down with a guest at dinner if the conversation is good enough.
